Why Use CBD Vapes vs Nicotine Vapes?

EndoFlo CBD Vapes vs Nicotine Vapes

CBD Vapes vs Nicotine Vapes

Not sure what the difference is between a CBD vape pen vs a normal vape pen? This guide will explain what the differences are so you can make an informed decision on whether or not CBD is right for you.

What are nicotine vapes?

Nicotine vapes, aka e-cigarettes, have become popular over the last decade as an alternative to help people quit smoking tobacco and cigarettes. As they almost always contain nicotine (0% nicotine vapes are available but not as a quitting tool), they can be addictive and should only be used by people who are trying to quit smoking and already have a dependency on nicotine.

Normal nicotine vapes contain:

  • Nicotine (between 0mg-20mg): an addictive compound that is found naturally in tobacco leaves and is used in e-liquids to provide a safer alternative to combusting tobacco.
  • Vegetable Glycerine (VG): A thick liquid that produces dense vapour when heated and helps to replicate the throat hit in e-liquids that is usually associated with inhaling cigarette smoke.
  • Monopropylene Glycol (PG): A thin, colourless liquid that is used to carry flavour in an e-liquid.
  • Flavourings: Nicotine vapes include flavourings which can help former smokers move away from the taste of tobacco.

What are CBD and cannabis vapes?

CBD vapes, aka cannabis vapes, contain oil extracted from the hemp plant (specifically from the Cannabis Sativa L. strain which is naturally low in THC) and do not contain any nicotine. CBD vapes are not used to help people quit smoking and are not a smoking cessation tool. Instead, they are used to provide the natural benefits of the hemp plant without inhaling smoke via combustion.

CBD and cannabis vapes contain:

Cannabinoids: 100s of naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant which can interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which regulates mood, appetite and in some cases (THC) can produce psychoactive effects. However, as THC is a controlled substance in the UK cannabis vapes typically have the THC removed to below trace amounts and will not produce any psychoactive effects.

Carrier oil: As CBD and most cannabinoids are lipid soluble (they will only dissolve into fats and oils, and will not dissolve into water), CBD and cannabis vapes use a carrier oil such as hemp seed oil or MCT (micro-chain triglyceride) oil to allow the cannabinoids to infuse and be carried in the vapour.

3 differences between CBD vapes vs nicotine vapes:

There are many differences between cannabis vape pens and nicotine vape pens, but here are three of the biggest differences of CBD vapes vs nicotine vapes:

  • CBD vape pens contain no nicotine and are not addictive

Unlike standard vapes and e-cigarettes, CBD vape pens do not contain any nicotine and are not addictive. Instead, the EndoFlo CBD vape pen contains oil extracted from the hemp plant containing naturally occurring cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes to provide an authentic flavour across five iconic Cannabis strains.

  • Standard nicotine vapes do not provide the wellbeing benefits of the hemp plant

Discover the relaxing and wellbeing benefits of the hemp plant, with each CBD vape pen containing full spectrum cannabis oil that promotes the entourage effect for maximum effect.

Some people use CBD for at-home pain relief, as well as to manage anxiety and stress or to help them to sleep, though you should always consult with your doctor or healthcare professional before using CBD products, and should avoid CBD and Cannabis products altogether if you are pregnant. Standard vapes containing nicotine do not contain any CBD, and are used only to deliver nicotine as a smoking cessation tool.

  • CBD vapes are discreet, non-intoxicating and don’t get you high

EndoFlo cannabis vape pens will not get you ‘high’ or leave you feeling intoxicated. As they contain only trace amounts of THC (below UK legal levels for CBD products), they will not produce psychoactive effects nor altered states of consciousness often associated with THC, and are discrete and easy to use.

Not only that, but the aroma and vapour cloud they produce is subtle and discreet, so they can be used in public without drawing attention if you prefer to vape in private. Unlike standard vapes, as CBD vapes do not contain nicotine, there is no nicotine rush, no suppressing of appetite nor any of the addictive qualities associated with nicotine consumption.
